| | | Spring The Rockfish opener is scheduled for March 1st. So we will spend our time catching these tasty fish. It is not uncommon for us to see other species during the Spring including Barracuda, White Seabass, Yellowtail, and Halibut. Of course we will also be catching Whitefish and Sheephead too. After April 1st we can start keeping the Lingcod. | | | | Summer As the water starts to heat up we will start to see more action on the White Seabass. We spend our Summer months catching Rockfish, Barracuda, Whitefish, Perch, Calico Bass, Sand Bass, White Seabass, Yellowtail, and Halibut. We get very busy during the Summer months so book your charter early. | | | | Fall The water temps will reach their highest points of the year. We seem to always have better sign of Yellowtail around and we usually get some good opportunities at the Calico Bass. The Fall is best known for the calm weather and warm days. Of course, we can always load up on the rockfish and whitefish, too. | | | | Winter During the Winter we can fish for rockfish throughout December but once we hit the new year our options are limited. January and February our options are limited due to California Department of Fish and Game Regulations. Our primary focus during these months are sand bass, sculpin, halibut, and perch. During the winter we may take some time off to do boat work |
